When it comes to comfortable pyjamas, it's hard to beat the feel of silk. Choose pure mulberry silk, or our satin range if you want that silky feel for less.
Silk pyjamas can sound like a treat, but people choose them for simple reasons: they're light and they breathe well on the skin. If pure silk is more than you want to spend, our satin range gives you a similar silky feel for less.
Every product page says which fabric it uses, so you always know what you're buying.
Pure Mulberry Silk | 100% Silk Products
Our pure silk products are 100% mulberry silk, a natural fibre. Where we know the momme weight (how heavy and dense the silk is), the listing gives it.

Most satin in use today is synthetic. Satin isn't a fibre in itself. It's a way of weaving fibres, and that weave gives it a shiny, soft, silky look and feel.
Our satin products are made mostly from polyester fibres. Some carry "Satin Silk" in their name because of that silky finish, but they are not silk.
Shop satinSilk pyjamas just feel good to wear. Here are a few more reasons people choose them.
Silk feels soft and smooth against your skin at the end of the day. Plenty of people love their silk pyjamas so much that they wear them as loungewear too. If you have a free day, there's no rule against spending most of it in them.
Many people with sensitive skin prefer smooth fabrics, because there are no rough or scratchy fibres rubbing against them at night.
Silk pyjamas are easier to look after than you might think. Wash them gently in cold water with a mild detergent and dry them out of direct sun. Our satin pieces are even simpler: wash them with similar colours, just like your normal laundry.
Silk has a smooth surface, so it doesn't grab at your hair the way a rougher fabric can. That's why many people with long or curly hair like a silk pillowcase or hair bonnet.
Silk feels light on the skin. There's nothing itchy or scratchy between you and the sheets, which makes it easy to get comfortable when you go to bed.
We tell you plainly what every product is made of, so you can compare silk and satin before you buy.

Got questions?
Yes. Silk pyjamas are a popular gift for birthdays, Mother's Day, anniversaries and bridal showers. You can also add embroidered initials or a name to eligible mulberry silk pieces for €10 per item, which adds 2 to 3 days to delivery.
Sizes differ by style. Some sets come in Small and Large, while others run from S or M up to XL or XXL. Each product page lists the exact sizes it comes in, so check there before you order.
Silk is light and breathes well, so it doesn't tend to feel heavy on the skin. Many people wear silk pyjamas all year. On colder nights, a long-sleeve set or a dressing gown adds warmth.
Yes. Our range includes long-sleeve button-up sets, short-sleeve summer sets, a satin negligee, dressing gowns for women and men, and men's silk boxer shorts. Each product page shows what the style includes.
Yes. A dressing gown over your pyjamas adds warmth without bulk. We sell robes for women and men in both mulberry silk and satin, and a light cardigan works too.
We don't sell pyjamas for babies or toddlers. The only baby item in our range is a pair of mulberry silk newborn mittens. For young children, always follow safe-sleep advice and check any item for loose threads before use.
Packaging depends on the product. Where an item comes with a gift pouch or gift box, its product page says so.
Silk is a smooth natural fibre, and many people with sensitive skin prefer smooth fabrics. We can't promise how any fabric will suit you, so if you have an allergy, check the material on the product page first and ask your doctor if you're unsure.
Silk is a natural protein fibre, and it usually breathes better than polyester. Our satin products are synthetic (polyester) satin. Satin is a weave, not a fibre. It feels smooth, costs less and is easy to wash.
Yes. Our embroidery service adds initials or a name to eligible mulberry silk garments, bedding and pillowcases for €10 per item. It adds 2 to 3 days to delivery. Embroidered items are made to your order, so the 14-day change-of-mind right doesn't cover the embroidery, but your rights for faulty goods still apply.
No. Silk comes from silkworm cocoons, so it isn't vegan. If you'd rather avoid animal fibres, our satin range is made from synthetic (polyester) fibres.
Silk holds its colour best with gentle care. Wash it in cold water with a mild detergent, skip bleach, and dry it away from direct sunlight. The product page has the care notes for each item.
Of course. We sell men's mulberry silk pyjamas, men's satin pyjamas in long and short sleeve, silk boxer shorts, and silk and satin robes for men.
It depends on what you want. Mulberry silk costs more and needs gentle washing. Satin gives a similar smooth feel at a lower price and is easier to care for. Compare both ranges and read the material details on each page before you choose.
Use the size options and any size chart on the product page. Silk pyjamas are cut to drape rather than cling, so if you're between sizes, the larger one usually gives a more relaxed fit. If you're still unsure, contact us before you order.
We don't make anti-ageing or skin claims. People choose silk because it feels smooth and light to wear. If you have a skin concern, a doctor or dermatologist is the right person to ask.
Yes. Pick a long-sleeve set for the colder months and add a dressing gown or a throw on chilly nights.
Pure silk has a soft drape but very little stretch. Many of our pyjama sets have elastic waists for an easier fit. Check the product page for the waistband and sizing of the style you like.
Momme is a measure of silk weight: a higher number means a heavier, denser fabric. Our mulberry silk pyjama sets are listed at 16 or 22 momme depending on the style, and the weight is shown on each product page.
Yes. Plenty of people wear their silk pyjamas around the house on a slow morning or a quiet day in. A matching robe finishes the look.
Silk is a natural fibre, but we don't make environmental or certification claims about our range. Our satin products are synthetic (polyester), and each product page names its material.
That depends on how often you wear them and how you wash them. Cold water, a mild detergent, no wringing and air drying all help silk last longer.
We can't promise that. Silk is light and absorbs some moisture, and many people find it comfortable on warm nights. If night sweats are a health concern, talk to your GP.
Our pure silk products are 100% mulberry silk. Where a product's grade or momme weight is known, such as 6A grade or 22 momme, it's listed on that product page.
Check the care notes for each product. As a rule, hand wash silk or use a cold delicate cycle with a mild detergent, don't wring it, and dry it flat or on a hanger out of direct sun. Satin pieces are easier to wash with similar colours.
Many people with sensitive skin prefer smooth fabrics like silk. We don't make claims about eczema, breakouts or any other skin condition. If you have one, ask your doctor what suits you.
Silk can crease a little. A gentle steam or a light iron on low heat smooths it out again.
A pyjama set is usually a top and matching bottoms. The product page lists what each set includes, such as long trousers or shorts.
Yes. Silk is light and breathes well, and our short-sleeve summer sets suit the warmer months.
Silk is smooth and light with a soft sheen. Cotton is soft but less sleek, and it can shrink, crease or fade after washing. Silk costs more and needs gentler care. Which suits you best comes down to how you like your sleepwear to feel.
Cotton and flannel sleepwear usually costs a lot less than silk, and there are reasons for that. Here's how they compare.
Silk is smooth and light, and it feels soft on the skin. Many people find it comfortable to wear to bed. Silk is a natural protein fibre that absorbs some moisture, so it doesn't feel clammy the way some fabrics can.
The feel of each fabric is very different. Silk is sleek and almost delicate to the touch. Cotton is soft but not sleek. Flannel is warm but can feel rough.
Cotton is cheaper, but it has a few downsides. Cotton sleepwear can shrink in the wash, so people often size up. Colours can bleed, and cotton creases easily, so you may end up ironing your pyjamas. Cotton can also fade in sunlight.
